Lauro Golf Course (Spain)
Lauro Golf has some of the best greens on the coast, with olive lined fairways and 8 lakes incorporated as water hazards at the 9th, 14th, 17th and 18th to keep you alert and on your toes. It is not a particularly demanding course and can be enjoyably played by less experienced players. With the exception of the 4th, which because of a steep incline to the green looks deceptively short, there are no hidden surprises.
The holes, each named after famous bullfighters, offer a good variety of lengths. It is a good course on which to relax and enjoy your golf. Three different combinations of play are possible over the 72 par course.
The Lauro Golf Clubhouse is a magnificent, fully restored 200 year old cortijo style country house, complete with authentic Spanish patio where you can enjoy drinks and food overlooking the grounds. The clubhouse facilities include the hire of buggies, trolleys, golf cars, caddies and clubs, dressing rooms with showers, sauna and lockers and a Pro. Shop. The club also has open and covered driving ranges, pitching and putting greens and group lessons available at the golf school.
