Guadalmina North Golf Course. One of the most established and oldest golf courses in the Costa del Sol, it consists of two very different courses : Guadalmina Sur (south course) and Guadalmina Norte (north course).
Both courses were renovated by Global Golf in 2002. Originally designed by Folco Nardi and opened in 1975, the North Course offers a good mix of Lakes, streams, fountains and the river Rio Guadalmina.
Signature holes include the impressive 11th, which you can drive over a small lake and a fountain placed just before the green and the par 4 – 17th as the river comes into play.

Guadalmina North Golf Course (Spain)
The North course is shorter and hillier than the south and has more water obstacles. It is comparatively easier then the South although it is characterised by a slightly more hilly terrain in places.
It must be mentioned that the course meanders around a lot of properties which are quite close to the course in places and can be off putting for some players, so if you are looking for a more natural quiet country course this may not be for you.
Having said that take away the properties and the course layout is an excellent course, interesting and well maintained. The course requires straight drives down the middle of the fairways , failure to do so may have one ending up in one of the numerous water hazards located all around the course.
Guadalmina has a very good sized membership base along with its own hotel on site so it is advised to book your tee times early.
